Privacy Policy
Effective date: · Last updated:
1) Scope
This Policy explains how we process personal data when you interact with H2 Softbotics® on Telegram — including viewing channel posts, subscribing/unsubscribing, adding reactions, commenting via a linked discussion group, messaging us directly, using our bots or mini apps, or purchasing paid content. Telegram itself is a separate service and processes your data under Telegram’s own Privacy Policy and FAQs; please review those documents for platform‑level processing (e.g., storage, IP logs, law‑enforcement handling).

2) What we collect
2.1. Data visible to channel admins on Telegram
Subscriber information: Telegram makes the subscriber list visible to channel owners/admins (subscribers cannot see who else subscribed). We may therefore view your Telegram profile name, username and profile photo(s) as exposed by your profile settings.
Phone numbers: Your phone number is not shown to us by default; by Telegram design it’s visible only to people you’ve added as contacts (unless you change that setting).
Post history visibility: New subscribers can see the entire message history of the channel once they join.
2.2. Comments & discussion groups
If we enable comments, Telegram links a discussion group to the channel. Your comments become messages in that group (and are visible there subject to the group’s visibility). We receive the content you post and your public profile details provided by Telegram.
2.3. Direct messages to us
When you message us directly, we receive the message content and the public account data that Telegram shares (e.g., name, username, profile picture, and your Telegram user ID).
2.4. Bots & mini apps we operate (if any)
When you interact with our bot/mini app, the bot developer (us) receives your public account data (screen name, username, profile picture) and the content of messages/commands you send to the bot. In groups, bots may be set with or without access to group messages (Telegram shows this in the UI). Bots don’t see your phone number unless you share it explicitly. For general platform rules, Telegram provides a standard privacy policy for bots/mini apps which we follow alongside this Policy.
2.5. Payments, paid posts, and Stars (if enabled)
Card details: When purchases occur via Telegram’s Bot Payments, payment providers handle and store sensitive payment data (e.g., card numbers). We and Telegram do not receive card details; we may receive order/shipping details where needed to fulfill an order.
Telegram Stars / Paid posts: If you unlock paid channel posts using Telegram Stars, Telegram creates a permanent copy in your transaction history (even if the post is later deleted). We receive the related transaction information from Telegram as needed to provide access and comply with accounting/legal duties.
2.6. Analytics & statistics
Telegram provides channel and message statistics to admins above certain size thresholds (e.g., reach, views, growth; message view graphs). We may use these to understand performance and audience trends.
2.7. Off‑Telegram data you share with us
If you submit data through external forms or websites we control (e.g., newsletters, surveys, giveaways), we collect the information you provide there (e.g., name, email). Such sites have their own notices; this Policy still applies to how we use that data.
2.8. Data we do not receive from Telegram
We do not receive your IP address or device identifiers from Telegram. Telegram may collect and retain certain metadata for security/abuse prevention (e.g., IP, device details) for up to 12 months — that’s Telegram’s processing, not ours.
3) Sources of data
- Directly from you (comments, DMs, bot interactions, forms).
- From Telegram (profile information it exposes, channel/group statistics, transaction confirmations).
4) Purposes of processing
- Publish and manage channel content; enable reactions and comments; moderate communities.
- Respond to messages and support requests.
- Run polls, giveaways, and campaigns (including eligibility and prize fulfillment).
- Provide paid content or digital services (including access control and receipts).
- Analyze channel performance and improve content.
- Detect/prevent spam and abuse; enforce our house rules and terms.
- Comply with legal obligations and defend legal claims.
5) Legal bases (EEA/UK, if applicable)
- Legitimate interests (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR): operating and moderating the channel, analytics, community safety.
- Contract (Art. 6(1)(b)): providing paid posts or services you purchase.
- Consent (Art. 6(1)(a)): optional marketing outside Telegram; certain cookies on our sites.
- Legal obligation (Art. 6(1)(c)).
We provide the information required by GDPR Articles 13–14 in this notice.
7) Data retention
We keep personal data only as long as necessary for the purposes above — for example, for the life of a campaign or as required by tax/accounting laws. Telegram messages/posts remain available according to Telegram’s platform features and your actions (e.g., deletion); Telegram’s own retention of metadata is separate.
8) Security
We use appropriate technical and organizational measures (access controls, encryption in transit where available, least‑privilege admin roles). Remember that any information you share in public comments may be seen by others and further shared outside Telegram.
9) International transfers
If we transfer personal data outside your country (e.g., to service providers), we will rely on appropriate safeguards (such as EU Standard Contractual Clauses) as required by law.
10) Your rights
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection, and data portability. To exercise them, contact us at support@h2softbotics.com. If you are in the EEA/UK, you can lodge a complaint with your supervisory authority.
11) U.S. State privacy disclosures (California etc.)
If you are a California resident, the CCPA/CPRA grants rights to know, access, delete, correct, and opt out of “sale” or “sharing” of personal information. We do not sell or share personal information for cross‑context behavioral advertising. You can exercise rights via support@h2softbotics.com. If we do not sell/share, we state that here (which removes the need for a “Do Not Sell/Share” link under regulations).
Categories we may collect: identifiers (username), profile data, user‑generated content (comments), transaction data for paid content, and inferences/analytics. See Sections 2–3 for details.
12) Children’s privacy
Our channel is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you are a parent/guardian and believe your child provided data to us, contact us to delete it. If we ever offer child‑directed services in the U.S., we will implement the notices and verifiable parental consent required by COPPA.
13) Automated decision‑making
We do not engage in automated decision‑making that produces legal or similarly significant effects concerning you.
14) Changes to this Policy
We may update this Policy from time to time. Material changes will be announced in the channel and the “Effective date” will be updated.
15) Platform‑specific notes (Telegram essentials)
- Subscriber privacy on channels: Only channel owners/admins can see the subscriber list; subscribers cannot see who else subscribed.
- Phone number visibility: Your phone number is hidden from non‑contacts by default; you can change this in Telegram Settings → Privacy and Security → Phone Number.
- Comments/discussion groups: Channel comments live in a linked discussion group; comments appear both under the post (as a thread) and inside that group.
- Bots & privacy mode: Bots receive your public account data and whatever you send them; in groups they may or may not have access to group messages, depending on bot settings shown in Telegram. Bots don’t see your phone number unless you share it.
- Payments: Payment data flows through third‑party providers; card details are not shared with us or Telegram.
- Paid posts via Stars: Purchases create a permanent transaction copy in your Telegram history.
- Telegram security/meta‑logs: Telegram may collect metadata (e.g., IP, device) to fight spam/abuse, kept up to 12 months; Telegram may disclose IP and phone number to authorities on valid judicial orders involving criminal activity.
